Hi there, I'm Jenny! Here at Walkley Petcare I understand that pets are a part of your family. It can feel uncomfortable to leave them alone while working or on holiday (as a pet owner myself I 100% understand this feeling!) That's why I put my energy into providing the best possible care, comfort and attention for your pets in the comfort of your own home.

- I have 15 years plus experience working with cat shelters and looking after the cats and dogs of friends and family. I'm passionate about animal welfare and love spending time with animals

Walkley Petcare Services
I offer a range of pet care services, depending on your pet's needs. This includes:
- Dog walking: Choose either 30 minutes or 1 hour walk in local parks and green spaces where possible.
- Cat visits: Visits to your cat at home to feed, play, cuddle, and groom depending on their needs.
- Puppy visits (If your puppy hasn't had their vaccinations yet) & Senior dog visits (For older dogs who are less keen on walks but still want some love) I can visit at home to provide food and care.
- Small animal visits: I'm happy to provide home visits for smaller pets including chickens, turtles, rabbits, chinchillas, gerbils and hamsters.

- Q: What services do you offer?
- A: I offer pop in visits and home stays for both cats and dogs in the Sheffield area. I also offer dog walking for smaller breeds and elderly dogs. As part of my dog walking service, I offer GPS tracking so you can see the route your dog has taken as well as videos and photos on request.
- Q: Do you meet my cat/dog before your first home visit?
- A: Yes, for every customer I request a free, brief home visit so I can meet you and your furry pal and check any requirements. I'll complete a short questionnaire to get a better idea of your pet's personality, needs and preferences and we can take it from there!
- Q: What if I have concerns about security?
- A: I take your security very seriously. I understand it isn't easy to let a new person into your home. I'm fully DBS cleared and provide references on request. To ensure your keys are safe, they will be kept in a locked cabinet with no address details on.
- Q: What if my schedule changes a lot or I'm not sure of the days I'll need?
- A: I'm happy to offer a flexible service and discuss your needs. Feel free to get in touch and we can discuss what best suits your pet.
- Q: Does my dog need to be microchipped for walks?
- A: Yes. According to UK Law, All dogs must be microchipped, and the owner’s details must be registered on one of the authorised databases. Owners are also required to keep their pets’ details up to date, for example if they move house.
- Q: Does my dog need to wear a collar and tag for walks?
- A: Yes. Again, according to UK law all pet dogs must wear a collar with the owner’s name and address on it when in a public place. The owner's details can be inscribed on the collar itself or on a tag attached to the collar. Even if your dog is microchipped, they still need to wear a collar or tag.
